Can I buy It?
You can buy MOT Failure Insurance if ;
- Your vehicle is less than 7 years old,
- Your vehicle has covered less than 80,000 miles,
- Your vehicle has been serviced in accordance with manufacturers recommended service schedules,
- Your vehicle has at least 3 months remaining on its existing MOT certificate,
- Your vehicle is registered and normally kept at your home address.
You cannot buy MOT Failure Insurance if;
- You use your vehicle for hire or reward,
- Your vehicle exceeds 3500kg gvw including load carried,
- Your vehicle carries more than 8 people – including driver,
- Your vehicle has been modified,
- Your vehicle is one of the following; FSO, Maserati, Bentley, Morgan, Bristol, AC, Cadillac, Caterham, Daimler, Ferrari, Tata, Lamborghini, HMC, Lotus, Marcos, Westfield, Coleman Milne, De Tomaso, Starling, Marlin, Rolls Royce, Venturi, Nissan Skyline, or Kit Car.
- You expect to claim for a known pre-existing condition
