Can I buy it?
You can buy this if;
- Your vehicle is under 5 years of age and travelled less than 100,000 miles,
- You purchased your car through a main franchised dealer,
- You have fully comprehensive motor insurance,
- Your SMART Insurance is purchased within 7 days of vehicle purchase,
- Your vehicle cost under £75,000 at time of purchase - unless agreed in advance with the scheme Administrator,
- Your vehicle is listed in the Glass's Guide and principally used in the UK.
You can't buy this if;
- Your vehicle is used for business use other than to and from a place of work,
- The damage was incurred prior to the purchase of the policy,
- The vehicle is owned temporarily by a business formed for the purpose of selling or servicing vehicles,
- Your vehicle is used an emergency service vehicle, goods vehicle, self-drive hire, public or private hire,
- Your vehicle is appears in the list of excluded vehicles found within the policy booklet - see 'Show Me The Policy' in the left margin box,
