Can I buy it?


You can buy Tyre Insurance If:


  • Your car is less than 8 years old,
  • You purchased your car from a VAT Registered Dealer and not purchased privately,
  • You purchased your car within the last 90 days OR you have a Tyre Condition report confirming the current condition of the tyres.
  • Your car has less than 80,000 miles at the point of buying cover,
  • Covers cars, light vans, motorhomes and motorcycles,
  • Your vehicle must be legally roadworthy and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations,

You cannot buy Tyre Insurance If;


  • You purchased / leased a used vehicle more than 8 years old or your vehicle has travelled more than 80,000 miles.
  • You did not purchase your vehicle from a VAT Registered Dealer,
  • Your car does not meet the servicing requirements. Details can be found within the policy document
  • Your vehicle is a taxi or used as driving tuition vehicle,
  • Your vehilce has been modified (unless agreed in advance by the administrator) .
  • Your car is a military vehicle, or a vehicle used by emrgency services,
  • Your vehicle's used for competition, road racing, speed testing, reliability trials, hire or reward, off-road activities, dispatch or courier services,
  • Your vehicle's exceeding (including any load carried) the following gross vehicle weight and dimensions: 3500kg, length 7m, height 3m, width 2.25m,
  • You expect or wish to claim for pre-existing damage.
