Mr Surfer purchased 3 year Tyre Insurance for his new Vauxhall Omega His wife, Mrs Surfer borrows his car to visit some friends. Whilst parking the car she accidentally kerbs the wheel and damages the wall of the tyre which results in the need to replace the tyre at a cost of £160. Fortunately, the car2cover tyre insurance will pay for the supply and fitting of a new tyre up to the value of £300 inclusive of VAT.
Two years later, Mr Surfer awakes to find two tyres have been maliciously damaged by strategically placed nails and they also need replacing at a cost of £320. No problem, his Tyre Insurance will cover the cost of each replacement tyre and will leave him covered for further claims.
Please Note - Tyre Insurance provides cover for up to 5 tyres, with a choice of either £150 or £300 claim limits. You cannot make a claim within the first 28 days from commencement on the policy.
