Almost every vehicle will suffer some form of minor cosmetic damage.
Our client's claims are most typically, stone chips caused by our deteriorating roads, car park dents and scratches caused by others with no care for other people's vehicles, plus other accidental minor damage.
With our Scratch and Dent Insurance in place, your minor cosmetic repair costs are protected. Claiming could not be easier. Simply take a few digital images, call the claims team and your claim will be considered for approval.
Our insurer's approved repairers are primarily 'Revive' and 'Smart Repairs'. More information about Revive can be found at https://revive-uk.com/, and Smart Repairs at https://smartrepairs.co.uk. In most cases, Revive and Smart Repairs will carry out repairs at your home or place of work. If for any reason they are unable to, our insurer may allow you to arrange a repairer of your choosing and approve them to carry out your repair.

FEATURES
Many policies of this type will only cover damage that falls within a 15cm diameter and only if that damage is on one body panel. Our cover repairs damage within a 30cm diameter and across multiple panels within that 30cm area.
Some policies in the market limit the number of claims you can make and the amount they pay toward each claim, typically to £150 - £300. Additionally, some also ask you to pay an excess per claim between £10 - £50. Our cover has no limit to the number of claims and will pay up to £500 per claim, with no excess to pay up to a total aggregate claim limit of £3,000.00

Our Scratch and Dent Insurance is available providing cover is purchased and started within 180 days of vehicle delivery from a main agent motor dealer, broker or leasing company.
Qualifying vehicles must be under 7 years of age and have travelled less than 70,000 miles. If your car is over 1 year old, our insurer requires a video of your car paint work to be uploaded to us before purchasing cover. Private mileage travelled during the period of insurance is not limited and up to 20,000 business miles per year is allowed. Vehicles with a pearlescent, two tone or matt finish cannot be repaired using minor cosmetic repair techniques and are not covered by this policy. If in doubt, please contact your vehicle supplier.
Please be aware, damage that occurred before the purchase of this policy is not covered and you must take and retain images of your undamaged bodywork at the time of purchasing this policy as these may be referred to at the time of a claim.
